GSNet - Graduates and Students Network (previously GSNC)

Welcome to the website of the ICE Graduates and Students Network. We hope to use this website to;

  • focus on the issues relating directly to GSNet Matters and to let you know what we are doing to help your career
  • To let you know what events both we, as the (inter)national committee, are organising and what your local regional G&S committee is doing.
  • be a one stop shop for all the information related to the process of becoming professionally qualified
  • To promote best practice for our regional committees
  • To be a first point of call for finding a contact in your area

This is your website. It is run by volunteers on the commitee and funded by the ICE. We are looking for articles, news and your opinions to make it really happen. Please send any articles to Emma Cooper at emma.cooper@hants.gov.uk.

The GSNet represents the Graduate and Student members of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). These members, totalling around 21,000, who make up over 1/3 of the total membership of the ICE, are generally following a course of academic study, or aspiring to take a professional review. A significant proportion of these members are based outside of the UK.  The GSNet also seeks to represent anyone who is aspiring to become a Member, regardless of their membership grade.
The GSNet acts as a conduit between the ICE's Council and the Regions on all matters relating to Graduate and Student members. The GSNet is represented on most of the ICE's committees and boards, and on Council.
